Chocolate & Peanut Butter - Yum Yum
I had my final art class yesterday and we had a potluck along with displaying our projects from the class. I figured it was the perfect time to make some vegan baked goods. I made the peanut better cookies from Vive Le Vegan and dipped the tops in Chocolate Ganache icing from Vegan with a Vengeance. I followed the peanut better cookie recipe except I added a tablespoon of molasses instead of 1/4 teaspoon. I am a big molasses fan. The chocolate ganache was a little messy for cookies since it is supposed to be used for cupcakes, so I will need to work on that a little. Other than that, everyone loved the cookies. I didn't take a picture, so sorry. They are all gone. Chris took the few that were left to work today.

probably best you didn't post a picture....by the sounds of those cookies I would have had to tear through my screen and into your house to find them!
I think that sharing vegan baked goods is one of the most important Vegan Ambassador activities out there. Showing people that vegans can eat yummy and delicious treats is the first step to teaching them that veganism is not a depraved and depressing lifestyle. So... Hoorah to you! :) Glad to hear that they were a hit!
Megan & Amey - Thanks so much for great comments. I was really happy that everyone thought the cookies were great. I totally agree about sharing baked goods. It seems to be a really great way to show people that we eat some really wonderful food.
