Thanks for all the great responses to the Men Who Cook idea. I'm glad I have this to post about because we haven't been cooking as much since we spent all weekend replacing our kitchen floor. There are definitely lots of men out there cooking! So here's the round up:
- Billy made chocolate chip cookies.
- Ken makes Kimchi.
- Shane likes to fry things up in a pan.
- John made a cabbage and mushroom curry.
- Alexander has a great set of photos.
- Drew makes pizza.
- K made pesto.
- Tom made Roasted Asparagus with Mock Hollandaise.
- Alec made the Veganomicon Pineapple Cashew Quinoa Stir Fry.
- Fred made vegan chile rellenos. (sorry, missed that one earlier)
- Susan's husband cooked but unfortunately had more important things to worry about than taking food pictures and blogging.
- I made bread pudding.
- And check out this thread on the PPK forums for lots more (cupcakes! apple pie! all sorts of other goodies!)
I hope I didn't miss anyone but please let me know if I did. And keep up the good work!

Here's another male food blogger with some delicious recipes:

P.S. The word verification is telling me to type in mlcvan. Sounds like McLovin from SuperBad. "I am McLovin!"
Yay for gyus who cook! I loved this little challenge :-)
Oh yeah!
This was SUCH a great idea Chris! Musty liked the idea, but was paralyzed with inaction. The only thing he used to cook for himself was salmon and boiled corn on the cob. Or pan friend steaks... so, obviously, his old tricks aren't much good with me around. If you ever do it again, I'll try to goad him into action.
Great post!

I forgot to comment on the other post, but here's my boyfriend's tempeh reuben recipe:

He made the Dal recipe that's on our blog too.
SO great! I wish Ryan had time to cook something, but we came back from Europe & didn't have enough time before the deadline.
Good for you Teddy ;-)
John's post was great vegan noodle!
Maybe next time Amey & Melisser :(
Thanks for the links Alec & Molly - here are live links:

Yeah! Great compilation!
Thanks for organizing this! Such a great idea!
I just found your blog and I enjoyed this post. My husband does not cook much, but he can make good apple cinnamon oatmeal!
My guy made mu shu tempeh tonight!

I wish I had caught this sooner! My husband is actually a better cook than me I think! He usually helps me make every recipe every night -- I know he would have loved to be a part of this!
What a wonderful round-up! It's good to know there are plenty of cooking men in the bloggosphere! I'm sorry I didn't get a dedicated post to you for this event, even though Daiku pretty much does 50% of the cooking on our blog!
Looks delicious. May try tonight using whole wheat bread. Is that a good substitution or do you recommend only white/Italian bread?
Thanks!
I like Chads blog: http://vegannosaurus.com/
very cool to see guy who love too cook!
Hey, I see that people are typically referring guys that they know, waiting for that to happen would assume that vegans read my blog. I love your blog and I like the solidarity of 'Men Who Cook'
My blog's about my vegan recipes, the occasional vegan restaurant I visit, wilderness medicine, and all the adventures I get to have travelling around teaching it.
Feel free to check it out, and thanks for all the great recipes and mouth-watering photos!
